Roque ("we," "us," or "our") operates the Roque platform at roquesaas.com and the Roque mobile application. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide directly:
Account information: Name, email address, password, business name
Client data: Names, email addresses, phone numbers, and mailing addresses of your clients that you enter into the platform
Financial data: Invoice amounts, payment records, and billing history. We do not store credit card numbers — all payment processing is handled by Stripe.
Communications: Emails, SMS messages, and notes you create within the platform
We automatically collect:
Usage data: Pages visited, features used, timestamps
Device data: Browser type, operating system, IP address
Cookies: Session authentication tokens stored in your browser
How We Use Your Information
To provide and maintain the Roque platform
To process invoices and facilitate payments through Stripe
To send emails and notifications on your behalf to your clients
To communicate with you about your account and our services
To improve the platform and fix bugs
Payment Processing
All payment processing is handled by Stripe (stripe.com). When your clients pay an invoice, their card details are collected directly by Stripe. We never see, store, or have access to full credit card numbers. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data: stripe.com/privacy.
Data Sharing
We do not sell your data. We share information only in these cases:
Stripe: To process payments
Email providers: To send invoices and receipts (via SMTP you configure)
Legal requirements: If required by law or legal process
Data Storage & Security
Your data is stored on secure servers hosted by DigitalOcean
All connections use HTTPS with TLS encryption
Passwords are hashed using scrypt (never stored in plain text)
Each tenant's data is isolated in a separate database
Data Retention
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your data within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it by law.
Your Rights
You have the right to:
Access your data — view everything in your dashboard
Export your data — use CSV export features on contacts, invoices, and reports
Delete your account — use the "Delete Account" option in Settings, or contact us
Correct your data — edit any information in the platform at any time
Children's Privacy
Roque is not intended for use by anyone under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by email or through the platform. Your continued use of Roque after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
